Dr. Imo Okorie Imo, B.Agric (FUTO), MSc (Lagos), PhD (JABU), AIIN, is an insurance executive, author, researcher, and educator with over two decades of experience in insurance, risk management, strategy, and entrepreneurship.
He is the Chief Strategy & Product Officer at Linkage Assurance Plc, Nigeria, where he leads corporate strategy, product development, innovation, and strategic partnerships. An Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (AIIN), Dr. Imo has authored several books on insurance and risk management, including Reinsurance: Principles and Applications, which was named Second Runner-Up at the 2024 African Insurance Organisation (AIO) Book Award, and Agricultural Risk Management and Insurance: A Systems Approach for Sustainability and Resilience, winner of the 2026 AIO Book Award.
He is also a respected adjunct lecturer and researcher, with scholarly publications spanning insurance, entrepreneurship, sustainability, and agricultural risk management. Through his writing, teaching, and professional practice, he is committed to advancing insurance knowledge, strengthening industry practice, and promoting sustainable development and resilience across Africa.
