Rajnikant (Rajni) Varia, past winner of the AIO Hall of Fame Award is
the inaugural winner of the Vanguard Market Development Award,
established by the International Insurance Society, IIS.
Rajni Varia, who is the former Managing Director of Zep Re, won the
African Insurance Organisation Hall of Fame Award in 2017 and was
nominated for the Insurance Hall of Fame which is organised by the
International Insurance Society (IIS)
The Vanguard Market Development Award, established this year by the
IIS, recognizes those who have substantially advanced the development of
insurance in an underserved market or emerging economy.
Rajni?”s victory is that of the entire African insurance industry
which he has served for about 40 years as an insurance practitioner.
