It is with consternation and shock that the African Insurance Organisation learnt of the demise of Mrs. Uju Ndubuisi Chukwu, Deputy Director General (DDG) of Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN), who was one of the delegates at the just-ended 46th AIO Conference in Johannesburg, South Africa. She was actively involved in all the sessions and activities and took photographs with friends and associates.
Mrs. Uju Ndubuisi Chukwu was found dead in her hotel room on Thursday June 13, hours after attending the Closing Gala Dinner of the 46th AIO Conference and Annual General Assembly.
While awaiting the doctors?” report to determine the exact cause of her death, the Secretary General of the AIO, Ms. Prisca Soares, on behalf of the President, Executive Committee and entire AIO members, extends heartfelt condolence to the family of Late Mrs. Uju Ndubisi Chukwu and the entire Nigerian insurance industry. May her soul rest in peace.
