Israel Muchena wins the 2019 AIO Book Award Contest

The Panel of Judges met on the 11th of June 2019 in Johannesburg, South Africa on the sidelines of the 46th Conference and Annual General Assembly.

For the 2019 edition, two books were received by the Panel from the AIO Secretariat as entries namely:

    Risk Management And Insurance in Agricultural business ? co-authored by D. L. Adeyemo and Obinna Chilekezi.
    Development of Insurance in Angola, A Case Study of a Key Frontier Insurance Market by Israel Muchena.

Verdict of the Panel

Based on the set criteria, judges scored the two books as follows:

    Risk Management And Insurance in Agricultural business ? co-authored by D. L. Adeyemo and Obinna Chilekezi. 40%
    Development of Insurance in Angola, A Case Study of a Key Frontier Insurance Market by Israel Muchena. 71%

Accordingly, the book on DEVELOPMENT OF INSURANCE IN ANGOLA, A CASE STUDY OF A KEY FRONTIER INSURANCE MARKET, written by Israel Muchena was declared winner of the 2019 AIO Book Award on an average score of 71%.

The winner thus received a certificate and a cash prize of $5000

For 2020 Year, entries are invited on any aspect of insurance.
